Republicans in Minnesota are pushing forward with plans to take Governor Mark Dayton to court.
They’ve filed documents seeking a reversal of the Governor’s decision to eliminate legislative funding before signing off on a finance bill reached during a Special Session of the Legislature last month.
Dayton says he made the move to force amendments he’s seeking to other bills he also signed his name to.
Majority Senate Leader Paul Gazelka says he would prefer a solution with the Governor, but doesn’t think they’re any closer to one after a closed door meeting Tuesday.
