There are 123,572 people who work in the public sector, earning $100-thousand or more.
That according to the so-called Sunshine list released for 2016 as part of salary disclosure legislation in Ontario.
That is about $8-thousand more than in 2015.
In the Rainy River district, some public sectors reported fewer employees over the salary threshold.
The Rainy River District School Board lists 34 employees, a drop of 10 from 2015.
The Northwest Catholic District School Board added two to the list.
On the hospital sector, Riverside Health Care is reporting 25 employees, up one from last year, while Atikokan General Hospital lists six.
The town of Fort Frances has five employees earning over $100-thousand or more in 2016, one fewer than the previous year.
