The lawyer for Adam Capay is in court to debate whether his client’s first degree murder charge will go to trial.
Anthony Bryant is dealing with a constitutional issue and an application for a stay of proceedings.
Capay made national headlines after being kept in solitary confinement at the Thunder Bay Correction Centre for four years.
He’s charged with first degree murder in the 2012 death of a fellow inmate at the centre.
Both sides will be back in court in May to give their closing arguments.
