A 15-year old boy is facing charges after a bomb threat at the Fort Frances High School.
OPP were called to the school last Wednesday afternoon.
Charges of uttering threats to cause death, criminal harrassment and assault have been laid against the boy.
Police say he’ll appear in Fort Frances court next Tuesday.
No bomb was found or used.
(FORT FRANCES, ON) – Shortly after 3:00pm on May 24, 2017 members of the Rainy River District Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the Fort Frances High School regarding a report of a possible bomb threat.
Officers attended and conducted an investigation.
As a result of the investigation a 15 year old male from Fort Frances has been charged with the following offences contrary to the Criminal Code:
- Utter Threats to Cause Death
- Criminal Harassment
- Assault
The accused youth will appear in court in Fort Frances on Tuesday June 6, 2017 to answer to these charges.
No actual detonation device was located or used by the accused.
