The first week of the OPP’s Festive RIDE campaign in the Rainy River district has nabbed a pair of drivers for impaired driving.
A 33-year-old resident of Big Grassy First Nation was arrested Saturday morning following a public complaint of a driver in the west end of Fort Frances.
Then while conducting RIDE checks on Colonization Road East in Fort Frances later the same day, OPP charged a 43-year-old man from Stratford.
Both drivers had their licenses immediately suspended and their vehicles impounded for seven days.
