Thunder Bay played host to another Conservative leadership hopeful, with Rick Peterson stopping by Lakehead University over the weekend.
Peterson says his ideas for the future are bolder than any other candidates.
His main ideas include: eliminating corporate income tax, which he says would create jobs; raise consumption taxes like the GST to balance the budget within 2 years; have a flat 15% personal income tax rate, returning $4,200 to families of 4 with 2 working parents.
Peterson adds that he was asked by former Prime Minister Brian Mulroney to run for leadership of the party.
