PC Leader Patrick Brown is out with his platform aimed at helping win next June’s provincial election.
Brown says it’s focused on five key areas, all intended to make life for Ontarians more affordable.
It includes commitments to reduce hydro rates by 12 per cent, cut income taxes by 22 1/2 per cent and $1.9 billion in spending on mental health initiatives.
Brown’s also promising the creation of 100,000 new child care spaces, an rebates on child care of up to 75 per cent.
He’s also proposing the creation of a Trust and Ingretity Act to help restore trust in government.
Bown’s also promising that if the measures are met in his first term in office, he won’t see re-election.
