Minnesotans with autism or sleep apena will soon be able to acquire medical marijuana.
The state’s Commissioner of Health Dr. Ed Ehlinger says both will be added to the list of qualifying conditions for the drug beginning next July.
Requests to add eight other conditions, including Parkinson’s and liver disease, were denied.
There were also requests to smoke medical marijuana or have it available in foods.
Both requests were also rejected.
Medical marijuana in Minnesota is only available in liquid or pill form.
