Some big names in the energy industry now playing a role in a proposed Renewable Energy Clean Air Project for International Falls.
The developer, Coronal, is wrapping up engineering of the plant to turn waste into a bio-fuel.
In an update to Koochiching County’s Board, the company’s Chief Financial Officer Steve Korstad says a number of other firms are now involved.
He says they had 25 confidentiality agreements with another five with companies working on key components of the plant..
It’s taken some time, but officials says this has allowed them to incorporate the latest in clean-energy techonology into the project.
