There’s a new terminal building at Falls International Airport.
Local, state and federal officials celebrated yesterday with an official ribbon cutting.
Chair of the Airport Commission, and Falls Mayor Bob Anderson says it realizes a project that was first planned for almost a decade ago.
He says credit senior levels of government for the financial support for the project.
The new building included expanded lobby area, new check-in counters and a passenger boarding bridge.
A second phase of contruction is planned for next May.
This will be space for agencies like US Customs and Border Protection.
