The Fort Frances Public Library and Technology Centre is seeking accreditation.
It is a first for the library.
Chief Executive Officer Caroline Goulding says it’s a measure of ensuring the library is serving the community the best way it can.
It’s its a lenghty process that requires the library to meet over 100 different requirements.
Goulding says they are currently meeting about 80 per cent of them.
As part of the process, a survey is being conducted to find out how patrons feel about the library.
The survey can be found on the library’s website, or in paper form at the library or Sister Kennedy Centre.
