US officials are keeping a close eye on what goods are trying to reach the US marketplace.
It's evident by the recent seizures of fake toys and media players for trademark violations found in rail cars crossing the border at Ranier.
U.S. Customs and Border Protection Port Director Jared Olafson says the seizures are actually quite frequent.
Olafson says most of the items are coming from overseas, but can target their inspections as they're well aware of what's coming across the border before it reaches them.
Olafson says it's a multi-layered enforcement strategy that also involves officials from Canada.
