Christmas shopping is on the minds of most this month.
A national survey for the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada looked at Canadian’s spending habits for this year.
According to the survey conducted last month with Canadian adults, around $643 will be spent on average this holiday season.
84 per cent said they plan to spend less than a thousand dollars.
Thirteen per cent said they would spend more.
Five per cent said they were spending nothing at all.
64 per cent said they didn’t save throughout the year for holiday gifts.
69 per cent said they will most likely go over budget this year for their kids or significant other.
