Fort Frances Muskies girls hockey team dropped their fourth straight NorWOSSA game, losing 3-2 to the Thomas Aquinas Saints of Kenora at the Duke in Couchiching.

Issy Taylor and Jill Calder provided the scoring for the Muskies who travel to Sioux Lookout this weekend for a pair of games.


The Muskies boys hockey team is in Winnipeg for the Piper Classic.

They play their first game this morning against John Taylor.


International Falls Broncos girls basketball team lost 54-44 to Eveleth-Gilbert.

Grace Gilbert lead with 16 points.

Chloe Sullivan added another 11 for the Broncos.


Rainy River Owls split games on the court with the Thomas Aquinas Saints.

The Owls senior boys basketball team defeated the Saints 62-55, but the juniors lost 57-47.

In girls volleyball, it was the junior Owls winning their match in four games while the seniors lost in three.


Fort Frances Women's Volleyball League resumed play last night with No Diggity, How I Set Your Mother, Take A Hit, Kiss My Pass and Scared Hitless each winning both of their games.

No Diggity and How I Set Your Mother swept their opponents for six point nights

The only other winners were  All About That Pass who beat the Bumping Uglies 2-games to none.

The Bumping Uglies swept Bump It Up 2-0.
