Steps Against Stigma and a Glow Walk will return to Fort Frances next week.
The Fort Frances branch of the Canadian Mental Health Association is hosting the events to help raise awareness and break the stigma around mental illness.
Educator-Trainer Nancy Daley Fulton says both will take part during the event of October 4 along the waterfront.
It includes a 1 KM and 5 KM courses and both will run at the same time.
Daley-Fulton is encouraging everyone to take part and dress up as there will be prizes to be given away.
You are asked to pre-register.
It costs $10, $15 on the day of the events.
Daley-Fulton says the money helps defray the cost of running the events which are not a fundraiser.
Registration forms are available at the CMHA office, through its website or Energy Fitness.
