An oversized load striking a power pole is being blamed for an outage in Fort Frances Sunday morning.
The mishap on Third Street West resulted in the loss of a feeder which provides electricity to residents in parts of the west end of town.
A total of 574 customers with the Fort Frances Power Corporation were impacted.
Crews made temporary repairs to get them back on the grid with plans to replace the poll later this week.
