Canada Customs officers are accusing the federal government of dragging out contract talks.
Public Service Alliance of Canada’s Andrew Wiersma says members are frustrated and hints job action at area border crossings could be taken.
Wiersma says that action is still months away as there’s still more negotiating expected.
Wiersma says outstanding issues include, wages, pensions and benefits.
Custom officers have been working without a new contract for almost four years.
An information picket was held in Thunder Bay to raise public attention.
