Some public schools in the Rainy River district will see new principals next fall.
Dianne Thompson will become a system principal after her year at J.W. Walker in Fort Frances.
Kevin Knutsen will take over from Thompson at J.W. Walker.
Kendal Olson, now responsible for Sturgeon Creek, Nestor Falls and the Sturgeon Creek Alternative Program in Emo will switch roles with Kerri Tolen at Donald Young School in Emo.
Barb Dennis will move from being vice-principal at Mine Centre to the school’s principal.
All of the staff changes take effect prior to the new school year.
