A state of emergency has been declared in Emo.
Rising waters from Rainy River put a pumping station at the water treatment plant in jeopardy, forcing the plant to shutdown yesterday morning.
Crews spent the day sand bagging around the station.
The township has a supply of water in place, but is asking residents to minimize their use of water until the plant can get fully restarted.
