Mark Dayton is back for as Governor in Minnesota after gaining over 50 per cent of the ballots in yesterday’s elections, but he rules with the Republicans back at the helm in the Legislature.
Wins by Republicans give them 70 members and the majority in the House for the next two years.
David Dill did keep the Democrat seat in District 3A which includes Koochiching County.
In the federal elections impacting Koochiching, Al Franken secured a second term in the U.S. Senate while Rick Nolan was returned as the House rep for District 8.
