An important meeting today for the Borderland Racing Association.
It’s hoping interested individuals will come out to the meeting to volunteer for jobs needed to be filled for this year races at Emo Speedway.
It’s been a tough start for the Borderland Racing Association.
The stock car group hasn’t been able to race yet at Emo Speedway because of delays, some weasther-related, in getting the track ready for use.
President Ken Perry says it’s the need for volunteers that is more urgent.
Perry says they also need more volunteers to help coordinate activities leading up to race day and at the track itself.
A decision on the season could hinge on how many people attend the meeting.
It takes place at 1 PM at the track.
