The Ontario Geological Survey is celebrating 125 years.
It’s responsible for documenting and publishing information about the province’s geology, and makes its findings available to the public.
It’s data was part of the early groundwork that attracted claim staking near Fort Frances and the subsequent discovery of New Gold’s Rainy River project.
