Construction of New Gold’s mine north of Barwick is now 35 per cent complete.
The company adds $400-million has been spend so far.
Chief Operating Officer David Schummer says this year’s work is focusing on several areas.
The goal is to have 75 per cent of construction completed by the end of this year.
