Some improvements to the CN rail line through the Rainy River district and in Fort Frances.
Railway officials tell CFOB-News that part of a $2.5-billion dollar capital spending program for this year includes ongoing track and infrastructure maintenance in various locations along the CN rail corridor and at the CN yard in Fort Frances.
That work will include replacing, fixing or maintaining railroad ties, bridges, culverts, other track infrastructure and road crossing surfaces.
