A reminder from the Fort Frances Fire Department new burning regulations are in place this year.
As of April 1st, there is no open air burning allowed inside city limits until October 31st.
Fire Chief Tyler Moffatt says it’s just to make sure brush first don’t get out of hand.
Moffatt says many Fort Frances residents don’t seem to be aware of the new burning regulations so
they are trying to get the word out before anyone decides to do any brush or grass burning this weekend.
