Members of the Canadian Coasters depart Fort Frances today following their visit as part of a cross country tour in celebration of Canada’s 150th anniversary.
More than one hundred vehicles participated in car shows, cruises and fellowship with local car buffs.
Wagon Master Fraser Field says they were very happy with reception and the hospitality provided by the host International Early Iron Car Club.
The group is making their way to St. John’s Newfoundland and expect to reach there at the end of August.
Field says the Coasters have been doing these types of trips since being organized in 1967 to recognized Canada’s centennial.
Most trips come every 10 years, but Field says this one comes a little earler because of the Coasters own 50th anniversary.
