It’s part of a state-wide campaign that ends after the labour day weekend.
While the state has seen a decline in the number of DWI arrests, there were still over 23-thousand motorists charged in all of last year.
There were also 73 drunk driving-related fatalities in 2016.
Nearly 266-thousand drivers in Minnesota have more than one DWI on their record.
