Minnesota is among states providing support with the emergency response and relief efforts for those impacted by Hurricane Irma.
Sixteen emergency management personnel from across the state have been sent to Florida.
They’ll also provide help in Georgia, South and North Carolina and Alabama as the storm moves through those areas.
Forty-one airmen with the Minnesota Air National Guard and six soldiers with the Minnesota Army National Guard have also been dispatched to Florida.
The National Guard is also helping out with forest fires in Montana, Idaho, Washington and Oregon.
