More recognition for Resolute Forest Products.
It’s received an award for its efforts to become more energy efficient and reduce greenhouse gas emissions from the American Forest and Paper Association.
Through a series of initiatives, the company has lowered emissions by 73 per cent since 2000 at its facilities across North America.
It had set a goal of reaching 65 per cent by 2015.
This is equivalent to 1.8 million cars being taken off the road.
