Two points programs are merging in the new year.
Beginning February 1, Loblaws is merging Shoppers Optimum points and PC Plus points into a new rewards program to be known as PC Optimum.
Consumers points on existing programs will be moved over to the new one.
The company says the value of the points under the new program will also have an easier redemption system.
Loblaw acquired Shoppers Drug Mart in 2014.
