Another record year for the Salvation Army in Fort Frances.
Lieutenant Ryan MacDonald says the generosity of people and organizations across the area has come through once again.
An estimated $30-thousand in toys and scores of food items were collected in drives held by a number of organizations and individuals.
Nearly 200 families supported by the Salvation Army were helped through its hamper program.
MacDonald says the Christmas Kettle program also expected to exceed the $70-thousand mark.
The money stays in the community to help the Salvation Army deliver its services and programs.
