There’s another way to fly out in and out of Fort Frances.
Thunder Bay-based Air Bravo is now providing air passenger service connecting to Thunder Bay and Winnipeg.
Company Rep. Phil Robinson says it’s an extensive of a courier service they’re now providing for area banks.
“The opportunity arose when we realized the cargo only takes up 20 per cent of the aircraft. We have these seats available, so we’re making them available to customers who want to travel to Winnipeg or Thunder Bay.
Air Bravo’s offering the service during the weekdays.
Flights from Fort Frances to Thunder Bay will leave at 7 a.m. and return by 6 p.m.
Robinson says that makes it attract for people doing business in the city or needing to travel for medical appointments.
Flights to Winnipeg will leave Fort Frances at 6:30 p.m. and return the next morning at 6:30 a.m.
Currently, customers have to book by calling a toll free number
Robinson says are in the process of hiring a local agent to have a more local presence.
