May is Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month and Provincial Police are making sure residents know how to help.
OPP set up a website “One is too many” which provides relevant information and contacts for support available in northwestern Ontario.
Throughout the month, police will work to raise awareness of issues related to sexual violence and promote ways to stop it.
Police say one out of three Canadian women experience some form of sexual violence in their lifetime.
