Provincial Police in Sioux Lookout along with the Lac Seul Police Service are reporting a sexual assault investigation in Kejick Bay.
Provincial Police were contacted about the incident by Lac Seul Police on Friday.
Police say the incident occurred on or around Wednesday March 6th.
OPP have now taken over the investigation and as a result 26 year old Adam Capay of Kejick Bay has been charged with one count of Sexual Assault with a weapon.
Capay gained national attention after being held in solitary confinement for 4 years at the Thunder Bay Jail and had murder charge stayed in a Thunder Bay Courtroom.
