Kim Beaudry and her Fort Frances rink now locked in a three-way tie for second place in their pool at the Canadian Senior Women’s Curling Championship in Chilliwack.
Beaudry’s foursome scored an 8-1 win over Nunavut in yesterday’s morning draw and then a 6-5 win over the Northwest Territories last night.
That draws them even with Alberta and B.C. at 3 and 2.
Beaudry’s rink faces Quebec at noon today.
Rainy River’s Cole Tymkin scored twice as the London Knight’s blanked Windsor 5-nothing to take a two-games to nothing lead in their OHL quarter-final series.
Former Fort Frances Muskie Joe Basaraba scored the overtime winner to give the Fife Flyers a 4-3 overtime win yesterday over Nottingham in the UK’s EIHL.
He also had a goal in the Flyers 3-2 shootout win over Guildford on Saturday.
