Labour Minister Patty Hajdu’s office is clarifying her recent comments about a secretly-taped conversation between Jody Wilson-Raybould and the Privy Council Clerk, which she has reportedly called “unethical.”
In a statement, Hajdu’s office says the Minister feels no new information was revealed in the audio.
She feels the Conservatives are “fixed” on this story rather than focusing on Canada’s important issues.
She expressed her support for the Prime Minister, and belief that he is fully cooperating with the Ethics Commissioner’s investigation.
Hajdu claims Justin Trudeau is reflecting on how to ensure he and his office are most approachable to Members of Parliament and Ministers.
