The Prime Minister appears to have had enough.
Justin Trudeau has ousted Jody Wilson-Raybould and Jane Philpott from the federal Liberal caucus.
It followed the release last week by Wilson-Raybould of a conversation with Clerk of the Privy Council Michael Wernick which was recorded without his knowledge.
For Trudeau, it was the final straw.
“The trust that previously existed between these two individuals and our team has been broken, whether it’s taping conversations without consent, or repeatedly expressing a lack of confidence in our government or me personally as leader.”
There has been no comment as yet from Labour Minister and Thunder Bay Liberal MP Patty Hajdu.
Earlier this week she was quoted as saying Wilson-Raybould’s secret recording of her conversation with Wernick was “unethical.”
