Today is what is known as Equal Pay Day in Ontario.
It’s aimed at bringing awareness to the differences in pay between men and women.
The Equal Pay Coalition says woman need to work 15.5 months to earn what a man does in 12 doing the same job.
The Coalition uses a government document that suggests revenues would increase $2.6 million per year if the gap was closed.
