A candidate who ran for the Green Party in the last federal election has announced her intention to seek the Liberal nomination in the Thunder Bay-Rainy River riding.
Christy Radbourne announced her decision on her Facebook page.
She says her positions and beliefs align with the Liberal platform and feels she can bring an added voice to issues she’s passionate about such as the environment and climate change.
Thunder Bay City council Shelby Ch’ng has also put her name for the Liberals.
No nomination date has yet been set.
