A new smoking bylaw is now in place for the town of Fort Frances.
It updates an existing one to reflect vaping and legalized cannabis use.
It prohibits their use in municipal buildings and town vehicles and requires users to be at least nine metres from any municipal entrance.
It’s increases to 20 metres from any town-owned park and 25 metres from the doors of the Memorial Sports Centre.
Smoking and vaping are also prohibted at Rainy Lake Square.
