The team of Dan and Josh Pollard captured the Emo Walleye Classic with 15.69 lbs of fish over two days of fishing.
Last year’s winners, Les Morrison and Oliver Gibbons, finished second with 14.99 lbs, jumping 20 spots after Friday’s fishing.
Day one leaders, Bill Godin and Nolan Mann ended up third 14.53 lbs.
Races at Emo Speedway were cancelled because of weather allowing a few drivers to race elsewhere.
Jeff Davis of Devlin was 11th in the modified feature at Hibbing Raceway Saturday.
Tanner Williamson was 6th and Cody Ossachuk was 12th in the mid-west modified feature.
Wyatt Boyum of International Falls finished 13th in the mid-west mod feature at Ogilvie Raceway on Saturday and then placed 9th in a b-main feature yesterday.
Last Thurday, Gavin Paull drove to a 6th place finish in the modified feature at Winnipeg’s Red River Co-op Speedway.
