Tourism and Events Coordinator Emma Dykstra says the theme this year is “True North Strong and Free.
“we’re hoping that their floats will kind of be whatever interpretation they think of the ‘True North, Strong and Free. We’re hoping for even some basketball floats since the theme for the Raptors is ‘We the North.’ That would be kind of cool,” says Dykstra.
