New Gold says it remains on track to meet production goals at its Rainy River Mine for the year.
The company reports after six months an equivalent of 129-thousand ounces of gold has been produced.
That includes 127-ounces of gold and 126-thousand ounces of silver which are converted to a gold equivalent based on average spot market prices.
In the last three months, 66-thousand ounces of gold and 66-thousand of silver were produced.
The company is targeting gold production to reach between 250 and 275-thousand ounces for the year.
