Three people who were evacuated because of the threat of forest fires in northwestern Ontario now facing assault charges in Regina.
Regina Police says the charges stem from two separate incidents at the University of Regina over the weekend where residents of Pikagikum are staying.
Two men, aged 19 and 22, were arrested after a 24-year-old man was beaten up Saturday night.
Then Sunday morning, police took a 29-year-old man into custody after a 28-year-old woman was seriously hurt.
