Expect traffic delays if you’re heading to Duluth this summer.
Upgrades to Highway 53 will begin Monday.
It includes changes to the intersection at Highways 53 and 1.
Construction of four new passing lanes between Ericsburgh and Cook will start later in August.
Work is expected to be finished by mid-October.
