The province is now making funding available for new schools and upgrades of existing ones.
A total of $13-billion will be available over the next ten years.
Education Minister Stephen Lecce is now allowing boards to submit their wish lists for this year’s Capital Priorities funding.
“School boards can apply for ministry funding for up to 10 capital projects that help address student accommodation needs,” says Lecce.
School boards can also apply for funding for childcare facilities being built within a school.
They will have until 2024 to spend the money.
