A new study from Feed Ontario says over half a million people used a food bank in Ontario last year.
The group representing food banks adds those users made more than 3-million visits in 2018.
The provincial riding of Thunder Bay-Atikokan had one of the highest user rates.
Eleven out of every one hundred people used a food bank in that riding last year.
No figure was given for the Kenora-Rainy River riding.
Feed Ontario says it was not able to compile adequate data to do so.
