The Rainy Lake Gymnastics Academy is teaming up with Fort Frances GM.
Owner Nick Beyak is providing what’s described as a significant donation as part of a five-year agreement with the Academy as it prepares to open this fall.
Director Stephanie Mann says they are thrilled with Beyak’s support.
“We certainly couldn’t be doing what we’re doing and starting the club this year without his support, so having him partner with us and the gymnastics club is incredible,” says Mann.
Mann says the money will help with the purchase of equipment and other operating costs.
“He’s invested a good amount of money to help us purchase equipment and get things rolling for the year so we appreciate his support more than we’ll be ever able to tell him I’m sure.”
The Academy will hold registration for its inaugural year at Fort Frances GM on August 27 from 5-8 p.m.
Mann says they were hoping to start in September but a delay in getting the necessary equipment to Fort Frances will push that to October 1.
