A delayed start to the fall sitting of the Ontario legislature has left the province’s official opposition time to brainstorm during a week of caucus meetings in Thunder Bay.
NDP leader Andrea Horwath says they want to find ways to push back against recent PC government funding cuts.
“Decisions that hurt families, everyday people, and the municipalities of Ontario that need to support families and people,” says Horwath.
MPPs head back to Queen’s Park for the fall sitting of the legislature on October 28.
On Thursday, the NDP meet with representatives from health care, education, labour, and the municipal sector to discuss concerns in northwestern Ontario.
