It appears the Trudeau and Ford governments will be doing some sparring at the highest court in the land.
The legal fight over the federal carbon tax in Ontario is going to the Supreme Court of Canada.
The province is appealing a decision from the Ontario Court of Appeal which ruled in favour of the Trudeau government.
The Ford government wants the high court to rule on whether it is constitutional for the feds to impose such a tax on the province.
Premier Ford has always insisted the Trudeau government has no right to interfere in what he believes to be in the province’s domain.
